We are offering a senior position at an emerging startup poised to break onto the online media scene in a big way. The ideal candidate should be an experienced developer on Flash/Flex platform with experience deploying and scaling a web application. This is a permanent opportunity to join a strong, growing company, and the candidate’s mentality should be oriented as such. Tentative start date: as soon as possible.

We are an early-stage startup based in Berkeley, California. The company was founded by three UC Berkeley Graduates who are passionate about creating a high quality, game changing product in the field of online media. Required:
• Top level AS3, Flex3 skills
• Strong experience building Flex-based scalable applications
• Previous experience working with video in Flash
• Very good communication and mentoring skills
• Previous experience as Lead Developer on an iteratively developed Flex-based application
• Excellent knowledge of web-based technologies

Desired:
• Experience with open source projects and agile development methodologies (XP, etc) a plus
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
