Flex - Advanced projects - Book cover Design and E-reader

Dear all,
We have an exciting project in Flex / PHP / MySQL approved to start!
We have divided this Project in three sections that we call Cover Design, E-Reader, and Embed version.
Cover design – It should be responsible for the creation of the cover book and export the content in Text Layout Format through the Text Layout Framework. Moreover, the XML should be structured in front flip, front cover, spine, back cover e back flip. Furthermore, this format must be compatible with the e-Reader.
The user must be able to create and format the text with Bold, Italic, underline, subscript, superscript, font, colour, align, indent and spacing (similar to word) as well as inserting symbols / images and orthographic correction for all the above structures.
Besides the manual creation, the user must be able to upload of a pdf after converting it to SWF. For this purpose, the PDF2SWF from Swftools.org should be used. A database should keep all these information.
Finally, the system should be able to import and export all the content created through XML.

E-Reader – We want to use the Page flip component (open source if it is possible). It should be able to present two kinds of books. The first one is stored in the database in XML format divided by page. The second is a PDF file converted to SWF format readable by FLEX.
It should have as basic components search, page preview, zoom, navigation buttons (firs page, next, preview, last page, and specific page), full screen, page marker, and about the book (author, book, synopses, number of pages, date of creation, number of visitor, avatar of the author, and star-rate).
The system should work with the language set in the local machine of the user if this language is in the database / XML. Although the system should allow the user to set the language, he/she wants to use.
All books will have the follow standard pages: First page (Title, author name and company logo) and Copyright.
Embed version - It is a portable version of E-Reader with two basic differences: it does not have page marker or search and it should have information about the price of the book (if it is to sale) and information about other books of the same author (name of the books and star-rate)
