We have an immediate need for a FLEX Architect in Atlanta, GA. The client is Home Depot Corp. and they have a need for a FLEX Architect for a 3 month contract assigment onsite at their corp. headquarters.

Very high profile project with tight timelines and a lot of visibility.
Home Depot is under going a major infrastructure redesign and moving all green-screen systems to web based apps. FLEX has become the standard development tool for UI interfaces for the store systems and there is currently a team of FLEX developers - however none are Architect/Design level and have limited training. Need someone who is very experienced in FLEX to help team get up to speed and help with the design and development. Resource must have development experience in real world - not just taken a class in FLEX. 50% of job will be architecture/designing, 50% of job will be assisting developers in training and best practices around features in FLEX. This position requires very little, if any development work by the architect. The go-live date for these apps is August and the need to be in QA by June - July at the latest. There is a second phase that will go live in Jan so if candidate does well, they may be extended to assist with that phase as well - no guarantee but good potential.
This is part of an enormous project is being supervised and owned by the SVP of Retail Systems reporting to the CIO - very high profile project for Home Depot
